Privacy & Terms

Last updated 2026-08-28

Not legal advice. This page is a plain-language summary, written by the person who runs Max POS, not reviewed by a lawyer. If you're evaluating Max POS for your restaurant and something here matters to your decision, ask — don't rely on this page alone for anything binding. The actual signed agreement for paying customers is a separate document covering these terms in full.

This website

This marketing site (the page you're reading this from) doesn't use analytics, tracking cookies, or any third-party scripts beyond one thing: fonts loaded from Google Fonts, which — like any web request — sees the visitor's IP address as part of loading the font files. Nothing else is collected here. The only thing this site stores is your light/dark mode preference, saved in your browser's local storage on your own device — it's never sent anywhere.

If you message us on WhatsApp or email from a link on this site, that conversation happens on WhatsApp's or your email provider's platform under their own privacy terms, not this site's.

If you become a customer

Once a restaurant signs up, the actual point-of-sale system stores real operational data — menu items, sales records, staff accounts, and (if loyalty points are enabled) customer phone numbers and points balances. In summary, drawn from the fuller service agreement every customer signs before going live:

Because this involves personal data (staff and, optionally, customers'), it's handled under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 — the specifics of that are spelled out in the signed service agreement, not this summary page.

Pricing, cancellation, and refunds

Current pricing is always on the pricing section of the main page. In short: no fixed-term lock-in, 30 days' notice to cancel either direction, and amounts already paid for a period — including a prepaid annual period — aren't refunded if you cancel partway through; whatever's already paid for keeps running as normal until it ends.
